Sources: Taliban order around 40 families to evacuate their homes in Angorbagh, Jalalabad

Some of the affected families have accused forces affiliated with Shahabuddin Dilawar, the head of the Taliban's administration in the Afghan Red Crescent, of exerting pressure to enforce this forced displacement. Images published of the transfer of belongings and the relocation of some families in the streets of this area indicate as much.

Angor Bagh residents say that they have lived in this area for over 40 years and possess legal ownership documents and deeds for their homes and lands. They claim that the individuals seeking to seize their homes are nomads from Logar province and enjoy the support of Shahabuddin Dilawar.

One of the local residents stated that among the forces who came to the area to carry out the evictions, there was no female police officer present. Residents say that this action has raised serious concerns about losing their homes and possessions.

As of the time of publishing this report, the reason for the order to evacuate the homes remains unclear, and Taliban officials have not issued any official response on the matter.

Residents of the Angor Bagh area in Jalalabad city say that Taliban forces entered this area in the early hours of Saturday morning and ordered approximately 40 families to evacuate their homes. According to the residents, armed individuals arrived at the location with tanks, heavy weapons, and fire trucks, and demanded that homeowners leave their houses as quickly as possible.
