Taliban Spokesperson: Pakistan's Attacks on Kunar and Paktika Will Have "Appropriate Response"

The Taliban has released images of the destruction and damage caused by Pakistan's airstrikes in Kunar and Paktika. According to the group, the Pakistani army targeted Patan village in Nurgal district of Kunar and the Rakha and Tor Kandi areas in Bermal district of Paktika in the early hours of Monday.


The Taliban spokesperson reported casualties from the attacks in Kunar, stating that one woman and two men were killed, and two women and two other men were injured.


He added that in Paktika, one house and one local shop were damaged in the bombing, but the attack resulted in no loss of life.



Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesperson, has described Pakistan's airstrikes on Kunar and Paktika provinces as a "crime and aggression" and condemned them. He stated on Monday, September 30, on the social media platform X that the Taliban will deliver an "appropriate response" to these attacks.
