Closure of 200 education institutions; hundreds of girls and boys have been deprived of education.

According to the sources, this action has resulted in hundreds of female and male students, particularly in areas without access to formal schools, being deprived of continuing their education.
Based on the information, these classes were active at the primary education level, previously established by the former Afghan government in collaboration with international organizations such as UNICEF to enable children in deprived areas to receive education.
The sources add that over five thousand students were studying in these classes, and with their closure, in addition to students being deprived of primary education, approximately 200 teachers and 25 staff members of these centers have also lost their jobs.
It is worth mentioning that the Taliban, after returning to power in Afghanistan, closed all educational centers to girls above the sixth grade; an action that has consistently faced sharp international criticism over the past nearly four years, but the Taliban have not backed down from this decision.
Local sources in Panjshir province say that the Taliban’s Education Directorate has recently shut down 200 local education classes that were operating in remote areas of the province.
