Taliban Interior Ministry Delegation Visits Qatar to Boost Co-operation

According to the statement, the purpose of this trip is described as “discussions with Qatar’s Ministry of Interior officials regarding joint efforts to control narcotics and expand cooperation.”

In a statement released on Sunday, 13 Saur, it was noted that this trip is part of efforts to strengthen engagement with regional countries and establish joint cooperation in the fight against narcotics.

The Taliban’s Counter-Narcotics Department further stated that the delegation’s discussions in Doha will focus on “effective ways to combat drug trafficking, exchange of experiences, and technical cooperation.”

The Counter-Narcotics Department of the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior announced that a high-level delegation, led by Abdul Haq Akhund, the deputy of this department, has traveled to Doha at the official invitation of the Qatari government.
