Amrullah Saleh: Iran's expulsion of Afghan refugees is part of preparations for 'restarting the war

On Wednesday, 11 Saratan, Mr. Saleh wrote in a post on the social media platform X that Iran is preparing itself for a "stronger" presence in a potential war and does not want to have "concerns about the presence of foreigners" on its soil at that time, even if those foreigners speak the same language and are neighbors.
He wrote: "Do not interfere! The Islamic Republic of Iran is thinking about restarting war. The possibility is not far-fetched either. Hands are on the trigger."
Emphasizing that Tehran is ready to accept the consequences of its decisions this time, Amrullah Saleh added: "It is better to focus on our own capacities and initiatives. Afghans and Afghanistan have nothing to say that the Iranian government does not already know. So, we should not distract Tehran! That’s it."
Amrullah Saleh, former Vice President of Afghanistan, says that the Islamic Republic of Iran is deporting Afghan migrants as part of preparations for restarting war.
