The office of the Israeli Prime Minister stated: "In light of achieving the operation's objectives, and in full coordination with Donald Trump, the President of the United States, the ceasefire proposal has been agreed upon."
The statement emphasized that Israel will respond strongly to any violation of the ceasefire.
Earlier, some Iranian media reported that the ceasefire between Tehran and Tel Aviv began at 7:30 AM on Tuesday.
The Israeli government announced in a statement that it has agreed to a ceasefire proposal; however, it will respond strongly to any violation of it.
