He explained that in such conditions, if the flow of oil underground is technically and mechanically halted, in most cases it can lead to an explosion; an explosion that not only destroys surrounding facilities but also renders the recovery of oil resources almost impossible.


Trump emphasized that even in the event of efforts to restore production, only a portion of the capacity—around 30 to 40 percent—would be recoverable, and it would never return to current levels. According to him, the occurrence of such an event could deliver a very serious blow to a country's oil infrastructure.


He also added that Iran is in a difficult situation and that these conditions are "highly explosive" from various perspectives. Trump concluded by reiterating once again that, in his view, Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, has stated that Iran's oil wells may soon face a kind of "natural explosion"; a situation that, according to him, stems from the country's oil storage capacity approaching its maximum limit.
