Trump announces temporary suspension of "Project Freedom" in the Strait of Hormuz

He wrote on the social network Truth Social that this decision was made following a request from Pakistan and some other countries.


According to him, despite what he called a "major military success against the Islamic Republic" and significant progress toward achieving a comprehensive agreement with Tehran, the naval blockade will continue; however, the implementation of the "Freedom Project" will be paused for a short period.


Trump explained that the purpose of this temporary suspension is to explore the possibility of reaching a final agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
