Pakistan warns Taliban: We will not tolerate continued infiltration from Afghanistan

Chaudhry, speaking to the media in Islamabad on Sunday, October 15, dismissed the Taliban's accusations against Pakistan as baseless and unacceptable. He urged the Taliban administration to fulfill its responsibilities instead of making accusations and to prevent the activities of armed groups on Afghan soil.

This Pakistani official stated that Islamabad has provided evidence to Taliban authorities regarding individuals crossing from Afghanistan into Pakistan. According to him, these documents were shared with Afghan representatives during the Istanbul and Doha negotiations as well; however, despite these talks, the infiltration across the borders has not stopped.

Pakistan's Minister of Parliamentary Affairs stressed that if the country is targeted, Islamabad's response will be decisive. He also said that the government and security institutions of Pakistan are determined to prevent crossings from the Afghan border, and efforts to halt this process will continue.

In another part of his remarks, Chaudhry announced that a state of emergency has been declared in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province due to lack of cooperation with security institutions. He added that the provincial administration is cooperating in counter-terrorism operations, and security measures to prevent infiltration from Afghanistan are ongoing.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Pakistan's Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, has warned that Islamabad will take necessary actions to prevent what he calls "terrorism originating from Afghanistan." He emphasized that if Afghan soil is used to attack Pakistan, the country reserves the right to take any measures to counter it.
