The United Front announced the killing of a Taliban member in Kandahar.

The front stated in a statement published on the social network X on Sunday, October 3, that this operation took place on Friday, October 2, in the Sarband area of Arghandab district.


According to the United Front, during this operation, a Taliban member was targeted and killed. However, no further details have yet been provided regarding the identity of the killed individual or the manner in which the attack was carried out.


The Taliban has not yet reacted to the United Front's claim as of the publication of this report.


The United Front also claims that its forces have conducted a total of 68 operations across 19 provinces of Afghanistan over the past two months. According to the front, the results of these operations include the killing of 102 Taliban members and the wounding of 45 other members of the group.


According to the front's claim, a significant portion of its operations have been carried out in southern Afghanistan, with Kandahar and Helmand being among the provinces where the most attacks have taken place.


The United Front, led by Sami Sadat, a former commander of the Afghan army, announced on August 1 that it had begun its military activities against the Taliban and what the front calls "other terrorist groups" in Afghanistan.
