Freedom Front: Taliban attacks repelled in Zibak, Badakhshan

The front claims that in this clash, five Taliban group members were killed and 11 others wounded.


According to the Freedom Front's press release, the fighting began after midday on Wednesday and lasted four hours.


The Freedom Front of Afghanistan also claims that its guerrillas, after repelling the Taliban attacks, launched a counteroffensive against the group from multiple axes using light and heavy weapons, inflicting heavy casualties on the Taliban.


The Freedom Front of Afghanistan stated that in this clash, no harm came to its forces and that the Taliban, after sustaining heavy casualties, withdrew.


The Taliban have not yet reacted to this claim.

The Freedom Front of Afghanistan announced that its forces had repelled Taliban offensive attacks on the front's bunkers and fortifications.
