Deadly Israeli attacks on Gaza continue; at least 9 killed

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the incident, stating that in the past 24 hours, at least 9 people have been killed and 39 others wounded.


The ministry's statement read: "A number of the victims remain under rubble and in the streets; ambulance and civil defense teams currently lack the ability to reach them."


According to reports, since the "ceasefire" took effect in October 2025, 846 people have been killed in Gaza in Israeli attacks, with 2,418 others wounded.


The Palestinian Ministry of Health also stated that since the start of Israel's war on Gaza in October 2023, at least 72,628 Palestinians have been killed and 172,520 others wounded.

In the wake of Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, on Wednesday, May 6, at least two Palestinian police officers were killed and several others wounded in an airstrike on a security checkpoint.
