Zelenskyy: After the ceasefire, we are ready to negotiate with Moscow in any format

In a press conference in Kyiv, he stated that the delegation sent to London has the authority to negotiate a complete or partial ceasefire.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the negotiations will not be easy, with issues such as territory, security, and NATO membership remaining contentious.

He stressed that Ukraine will never recognize Russian control over Crimea. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin has, for the first time since the war began, proposed bilateral negotiations. Sources close to the talks told the Financial Times that Moscow might relinquish its claims over some occupied territories.

The United States has called for tangible progress toward peace and warned that it will reduce its support for the negotiation process if no results are achieved.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, announced that his country is ready to engage in talks with Russia in any format following a cessation of hostilities.
