Rahmatullah Nabil: Anyone who hinders education is an enemy of the nation and the homeland

He emphasized that ignorance has only spread through force and fatwas in history, and this trend must not be allowed to continue.
Referring to King Amanullah Khan’s role in Afghanistan’s social and educational transformations, Nabil described him as one of the greatest figures in modern history who made significant efforts for the country’s progress.
He also noted that during King Amanullah’s era, society suffered from the chains of ignorance; however, through his reforms, positive changes occurred in the field of education.
The former head of National Security protested the Taliban’s ban on girls’ and women’s education in this note. He called this action a serious threat to the country’s future and human rights, labeling it a return to an era of darkness.
Nabil, by sharing an image of King Amanullah, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and Reza Shah Pahlavi, expressed that the aspiration for the modernization and awakening of the East remains alive in this image, stating that Afghan society must not be allowed to deviate from the path of education and progress.
Rahmatullah Nabil, the former head of Afghanistan’s National Security under the previous government, in a note commemorating the anniversary of King Amanullah Khan’s passing, stated that anyone who obstructs education in the country is an enemy of the nation and homeland.
