UNAMA investigates three civilians killed in Pakistani airstrikes in Kunar

According to UNAMA, four other civilians were also wounded in these strikes.


The organization added that since the start of the year 2026 AD, more than 1,100 civilian casualties—including deaths and injuries—have been recorded as a result of cross-border armed violence in Afghanistan.


UNAMA has once again emphasized adherence to international humanitarian law and called on the warring parties to respect these laws in order to prevent harm to civilians.


Meanwhile, the Pakistani government had previously announced that in the early Monday airstrikes in Afghanistan's border areas, 28 militants were killed.



The Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has announced that following the early Monday airstrikes in Kunar Province, at least three civilians—including one man, one woman, and one girl—have been killed.
