Despite the pressures; Russia stressed that attacks on Ukraine will continue

Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister, said on Sunday that the country’s military will continue to target Ukraine’s military positions.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, more than 70 Russian attacks were recorded on Sunday alone. Lavrov claimed that some of the targets attacked were locations where foreign forces and European instructors were stationed.
This comes as Trump, following a meeting between his special envoy and Vladimir Putin, announced progress in negotiations to end the war and called for accelerating talks between Russian and Ukrainian officials.
Despite these diplomatic efforts, Moscow’s official stance indicates that Russia is not yet ready to accept the proposals put forward by Washington.
Despite the fact that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has called for a halt to the conflicts in Kyiv, Russia emphasized that its attacks on Ukraine will continue.
