Hindustan Times: New Delhi is considering military options against Pakistan

This decision comes in the wake of a recent deadly attack in the Jammu and Kashmir region, for which India holds Pakistan responsible. However, Islamabad has rejected the accusation and called for an independent investigation.

According to a senior Indian official, whose name has not been disclosed, India has significantly enhanced its military capabilities in recent years. The official emphasized that a range of advanced weaponry, both imported and domestically produced, is now available to India’s armed forces, providing New Delhi with more options for action.

The Hindustan Times also wrote that the offensive capabilities of Indian forces today far surpass those of 2019, when, in response to a similar attack, an airstrike was carried out in Pakistan’s Balakot region.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defense Minister has warned against any military action by India, stressing that Pakistani forces are fully prepared to defend.

The Hindustan Times, citing Indian government sources, has reported that New Delhi is carefully evaluating a potential military response against Pakistan.
