Repeated violations of ceasefire agreement; At least 10 Palestinians injured in Gaza

The Israeli army, confirming the report, stated that its forces had fired a bomb at a residential area in Gaza on Wednesday and are investigating the matter. This is the latest attack to violate the fragile ceasefire.

According to the army, the bomb was fired during an operation in an area known as the "Yellow Line"—a line drawn in the ceasefire agreement that separates large parts of Gaza under Israeli control from other areas. The Israeli army also stated that the bomb had veered off course from its intended target; however, they did not specify the primary target.

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, more than 370 people have lost their lives due to gunfire from Israeli forces. The United Nations and other aid organizations have also warned that their relief operations are at risk due to repeated ceasefire violations by the Israeli army.

Gaza health officials announced on Wednesday, December 17, that at least 10 Palestinians were injured in an attack involving the firing of a bomb by the Israeli army at a residential area in Gaza City.
