Linda Thomas Greenfield, the US representative in the UN Security Council, says that girls in Afghanistan are facing all kinds of violence, one of which is early marriage.

 

He added that girls face systematic gender discrimination and young boys are also recruited as fighters in Afghanistan.


 

The UN Security Council held a meeting on children and armed conflicts in the world today (Wednesday, 15 Hamal).

 

Ms. Linda said in this meeting that in Afghanistan, girls face early and forced marriage, gender violence and systematic discrimination, including in the field of education deprivation; On the other hand, young boys are also recruited as child soldiers.
