Nuruddin Azizi: America could not reduce poppy cultivation to zero

In a meeting, Talban's Minister of Trade and Industry Nouruddin Azizi declared that since Molla hibtullah banned drug cultivation and trafficking

, not a single plot of land in Afghanistan is now used for the growing of poppies.

Azizi asserts that at a cost of billions of dollars, they did something that America was powerless to stop.

Although some scholars say that the major nations of the globe are to blame for the growth of drug trafficking and smuggling in Afghanistan, they assert that the Taliban were the primary drivers of this development.

The Taliban leadership is regarded by these informants as the largest drug trafficking organization in the world.
