The Taliban stopped the activities of all Swedish institutions in Afghanistan

In a statement released today (Tuesday, the 11 of jul), the Taliban group declared that all institutions connected to Sweden have ceased their operations in Afghanistan.


 According to the Taliban's statement, which was released by their spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, Swedish organizations won't be permitted to work in Afghanistan until Sweden extends an apology to the Muslim community worldwide.


Many people were upset by the Swedish police's decision to permit someone to burn a copy of the Holy Quran at a Stockholm mosque on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
