Two Taliban members allegedly were slain by the home's owner in Takhar province, while another was hurt while breaking into a house with the purpose to sexually abuse a woman, according to local sources.

According to additional sources, this incident occurred last night in the village of Konjak Saraisank, Talaqan city, Takhar province, when Fazlullah and Abdullah, two armed men connected to Qari Hassan, deputy intelligence officer of the Taliban group in Takhar, entered a house with the intention of raping a woman. Abdullah, Qari Hassan's nephew, was slain, while Fazlullah, Qari Hassan's brother, was hurt and taken to the hospital.
