In Samangan, a priest was shot by the Taliban faction

Samangan provincial sources claim that Maulvi Shakur, a religious scholar, was shot by the Taliban because they refused to comply with their desire to spread propaganda in support of their government.This incidence happened at Char Daryab village in the Khalm Samangan district today, January 25.The sources state that this scholar was the primary inhabitant of the province of Jawzjan.It is not unusual for the Taliban to assassinate people.Upon seizing power in Afghanistan, this organization has mercilessly shot, tortured, and imprisoned hundreds of civilians without committing any crimes.
