Former House Speaker Mir Rahman Rahmani and his son Ajmal Rahmani, a member of the House of Representatives, refuted claims that they were involved in financial corruption.Regarding the allegations of corruption in the parliamentary elections, Mir Rahman Rahmani and Ajmal Rahmani have stated that they have legitimate documentation supporting every accusation, and they believe the reports to be untrue.The US Treasury Department barred Mir Rahman Rahmani and Ajmal Rahmani from entering the country after accusing them of rigging millions of dollars' worth of oil contracts and Afghan parliamentary elections.
