A book, a community; The new campaign of protesting women

A number of organizations that support women's rights have started the "One Book, One Community" campaign to promote women's rights, particularly the right to education.



 These women claim in a proclamation that the Taliban wants to obliterate education in order to achieve the dark and terrible objectives of themselves and their superiors.


 After the Taliban took power, a group of engaged women began a number of protests against the Taliban's prohibitions. By doing this, the Taliban were able to arrest, beat, insult, humiliate, sexually abuse, and even kill certain people.
