Reports state that Turkey has welcomed the Taliban-introduced envoy to the Afghan embassy in Ankara.

Mohammad Zubair Wadan, a Taliban diplomat in Turkey, received a diplomatic visa from the Turkish government and began working as a new Taliban ambassador at the Afghan embassy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs designated Zubair Vedan as the initial secretary of this representation, and Mr. Vedan reportedly received a visa, according to Turkish embassy sources.
