Richard Bennett, the UN special rapporteur on human rights, sent out a message following his meeting with Sohail Shaheen, the head of the Taliban organization's Doha office.Bennett said that he requested the release of the women protestors who were being held by the Taliban group during this meeting.Many women who have participated in protests are being tortured in Taliban prisons for the past three months.
