Don newspaper reported that 700 Afghan citizens were detained in Karachi alone in September, while hundreds more were detained in other Pakistani cities.

It is stated in another section of this newspaper's report that the number of people detained in September is ten times more than that of August. 1800 people were reportedly ejected from Karachi last year, according to this article.
