Taliban group arrested a journalist in Ghazni

Latif Yaqoubi, a reporter for the American Voice of Ashna, was detained, according to a statement from the Journalist Union of Afghanistan.

Yaqoubi's family confirmed this information, saying that the Taliban organization had taken him away after arresting him from his home last night (Monday, the 10 jul).

 

At the same time, Yaqoubi was not detained due to his media activities, according to the Ghazni head of communications and culture.

The family of Yaqoubi appeals to the media to help rescue him from the Taliban's control.
