Afghanistan receiving a new ambassador from Japan

The Taliban Foreign Ministry's bulletin claims that Japan has named a "new ambassador" for Afghanistan.

In a bulletin published today, Sunday, 23 Mizan, the Taliban Foreign Ministry reported that Japanese Ambassador Takashi Okada informed Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motaghi that his duty in Afghanistan had come to an end.

The Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs' bulletin was released on Sunday by the Japanese Embassy in Afghanistan.
