According to a newsletter published by the central bank run by Talban, 420 million and 831 thousand Afghanis' Mandares banknotes were burned in Kandahar.The Central Bank stated on X's social media page today, Wednesday, 3 Aqrab, that it has burned Mandares' money over the past two days.The first deputy of the central bank under Talban's leadership, Noorahmad Agha, added that this quantity of notes was gathered from the southwest region.He claims that during the last three months, the Central Bank of Afghanistan has eliminated the use of outdated banknotes and replaced them with new ones.
