The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the meeting of Amir Khan Motaqi with Asif Durrani

The Taliban's foreign ministry spokesman, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, announced the meeting on Twitter and stated that at the outset, he congratulated Motaqi Durrani on his new role and emphasized the development of economic and political ties between the two parties.


This is true even though Asif Durrani claimed last week that Pakistan and the United States of America have the authority to use airstrikes in Afghanistan to quell that country's terrorist operations during a televised appearance.
