Accusing the media of trading in the blood of their employees

Six years ago, the six, all breadwinners in their families, were killed in a Taliban terrorist attack just for working for Tolo TV.

Every year, on the anniversary of the deaths and injuries of its employees, Tolo TV received special reports on Taliban crimes, but this year the media officials did not even mentioned the Taliban in a short news item.

This kind of behaves of Tolo News officials has also been criticized by some former journalists of this media.



A number of journalists accuse the media of trading in the blood of employees and journalists, but others accuse the media of falling to withstand Taliban pressure.

A reporter for the Haqqani network, a branch of the Taliban, and now one of the group’s leader, Sirajuddin Haqqani, who is in charge of the Taliban’s interior ministry, has been blamed by the previous government’s nationals security for attacking Moby group employees.

A number of journalists accuse media officials of business, carelessness over the live, property and work of their employees and journalists. Recalling the operation of Tolo News Network, the reporters say that the officilas of this media and other media outlets have even traded in the lives of their reporters in recent years. It has been six years since several Tolo TV employees were killed and wounded in a Taliban attack, but this year media officials did not mentioned even the Taliban’s crime in their news.
