UN: Closing hair salons is another blow to Afghan women!

Sima Bahous, the executive director of the UN Women's Department, tweeted that women should be a part of Afghanistan's future in response to the closing of women's hair salons.

The closure of women's hair salons, Mrs. Bahous noted, is yet another setback for women's rights.

The Talban chose to shut down the hair salons because they believed that eyebrow plucking and hair transplants violated their interpretation of "Sharia."

Closing hair salons is another blow to Afghan women!
