In a newsletter, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan reported that last night, during an operation against Taliban bases in the Mandol and Doab districts of Nuristan province, two of them were killed and five others were injured.

The National Resistance Front has noted that the first operation, which began in the Mandol district last night and lasted until 4 am on Wednesday, resulted in the deaths of two Talib fighters, the wounding of two others, and the setting on fire of one of their military mediators.

The news source also stated that this front's second operation began yesterday evening in the Doab Nuristan district.
