In 17 of the nation's provinces, the Department of Meteorology has issued flood warnings due to heavy rain, thunder, and lightning. This department has issued a warning for today, Monday,


24 jul, predicting that heavy rains and flash floods will occur today and tomorrow in the provinces of Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Kapisa, Parwan, Nangarhar, Kabul, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Bamian, Ghor, Paktika, Zabul, and Daikundi. Predicted rainfall in various regions of these provinces ranges from 15 to 40 mm. Recent rains and floods in different sections of the nation have killed many people and left the population with significant financial losses.
