Eight members of a family, including parents and children, reportedly perished.

Abdul Hossein, the family's head, was born and raised in the Chamtal region of Balkh's Kohistanat Sarpol district.

Although the Taliban group deemed this mass murder questionable, the locals and this family's relatives accuse the Taliban of being responsible for the crime.
