In a statement posted to his X user account, the assassinated president Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai stated: "All of us must hurry to deal with the consequences of natural disasters with transparency and integrity." Ghani went on to say "the injured Afghans of Herati and the west of the country should pay attention And it should be the priority of all of us."
