Norway Accused of Allying with the Taliban

A number of Afghan citizens in France have accused Norway to allying with the Taliban terrorist group, saying it is trying to normalize relations with the Taliban.

They say Europe’s efforts to invite the Taliban’s delegation to Norway are disrespectful to the blood of thousands of victims of the group’s terrorist attacks in Afghanistan

These citizens say that the Taliban terrorist group should not be invited to Europe to determine the fate of the Afghan people.

They say; the Taliban have made life difficult for the people of Afghanistan, especially women, by imposing strict laws, and that Europe should not ignore the blood of thousands of victims in Taliban terrorist attacks.

They warn that if Europe is reckless about the fate of the Afghan people and aligns with the Taliban, its citizens are in fact at risk of terrorism, because the Taliban is a threat to Europe and the world.

Although the Norwegian government has stated that the Taliban delegation’s visit to Europe does not mean recognition of this group’s government, many have seen the move as a step towards softness and reconciliation between the Taliban and Europe.
