Earthquakes continue to pose a hazard to Herat

West of the nation saw a 4.1-magnitude earthquake this morning.This earthquake was located at a depth of ten kilometers in the province of Herat, according to the US Seismological Center.Herat has seen numerous earthquakes and aftershocks during the past two weeks.About ten thousand Herat residents lost their homes in these earthquakes and suffered injuries.Concern over the paucity of resources to assist the earthquake victims has been voiced by UN assistance organizations.
