Taliban detained a Panjshiri religious professor

A religious scholar from Panjshir province was detained by the Taliban group on Tuesday, according to reports from local sources in the province.


This religious scholar goes by the name Faizullah, and he lives in the Panjshir Valley District.


According to local sources, there is no update regarding Maulvi Faizullah's whereabouts.


The Taliban organization has killed hundreds of individuals and imprisoned thousands of Panjshir inhabitants in the last two years.


The United Nations and Amnesty International have charged the Taliban organization in Panjshir with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
