US special representative: Afghanistan is becoming a cruel place for women.

The US special representative for Afghan women's affairs, Rina Amiri, tweeted that Afghanistan is becoming increasingly ruthless and isolated.

Amiri uttered these words in response to the Taliban's decision to shut down women's hairdressing salons in Afghanistan, adding that salons were one of the few locations outside the home where women could earn a living to support their families.

However, a number of experts believe that the Taliban's crimes and oppression of Afghan women and men are the result of the West's interaction and secret deals with this terrorist group.

Thousands of women are destitute due to the closure of hairdressing salons in the country.

Afghanistan is becoming increasingly ruthless and isolated.
